Looking at the pieces Ive made so far makes me reflect on how far Mawie Crochets has come since its quiet beginnings in 2021. In my wildest dreams, I never anticipated seeing this small creative space blossom as beautifully and organically as it has. What started as crafting simple tokens for close friends and family has somehow grown into a journey where my work has crossed borders and shipped internationally. Sometimes, I look at my hands and wonder... how many crochet pieces have I actually brought to life over the years?
The honest answer? Aba malay ko...😂
But joking aside, Mawie Crochets was built from the ground up by a wide-eyed 16-year-old, and looking back at her now, I couldn’t be prouder. For all these years, this has been entirely a one-woman team, handling every meticulous stitch, every carefully wrapped package, and every late-night deadline completely solo. I truly, deeply love what I do here, and I am profoundly grateful to every single soul who has supported me along the way.
To my fellow creatives who are still finding their footing, I hope my journey can serve as a gentle reminder: please, show your art. Continue to share what you create, even when it feels terrifying or small. Put your heart out into the world, because someone out there will always, I mean always, appreciate and cherish the art you make.
Thank you for walking this beautiful path with me, and I hope you continue to support my small business as we enter this next chapter. 🤍
