University Student Council (USC) President Paul Andrei Macaspac has warned the students about producing unverified, temporary identification cards imitating the template of the official ID of DHVSU.

In a Facebook post, Macaspac raised concern over circulating screenshots of temporary IDs made by some students as an alternative to an actual ID as their means of identification in the upcoming face-to-face classes.

Through an interview by The Industrialist, Macaspac forwarded a sample for an unverified DHVSU ID provided by the council.

Since the start of the academic year 2020–2021, DHVSU hasn't issued an official ID yet. Hence, 1st year to 3rd year students for this academic year are yet to have their official IDs.

A Certificate of Registration (COR) will serve as the temporary ID for Honorians once they enter the campus during in-person classes.

ROCK ON, HONORIANS!

As we welcome the new academic year, the Office of Culture and the Arts is looking for vigorous, passionate, and versatile live band members who will be the official participants for the CAASUC III Festival of Talents 2022!

*For Vocalist
-can sing pop, rock, and reggae
-has a pleasing and entertaining personality
-a team player/team leader

*For Bassist/ Electric Guitarist/ Drummer/ Keyboardist
-has a good technical knowledge and skills on the instrument
-can create own renditions of pop, rock, and reggae music
-possession of your own instrument/gadget(s) is an advantage
-a team player/team leader

Prepare a maximum of 3-minute audition video singing/playing an OPM song; for aspiring lead guitarist and bassist, you may submit a solo cover of an OPM song.

You may submit your audition video via this Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjhu2903TICVALvtOsB6fHxKNkrUPoYOjUaTSHMbrBUE-2Ng/viewform. Choose "Live Band" as preferred ART GROUP. Deadline of submission is until September 23, 2022 ONLY.

This audition is open to all bona fide college students of DHVSU (including extension campuses). FRESHIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!

Successful auditionees will be notified via email.
