A blessed celebration through music and prayer.

Coro Recoleto was honored to serve through song during the Fiesta Mass at St. Ezekiel Monastery, Tangub, presided over by Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, D.D. Meanwhile, half of our choir also served at the University Gymnasium, UNO-R, for the Holy Mass presided over by Msgr. Ronald Quijano.

A GRAND CHOIR FOR A HISTORIC ECCLESIAL CELEBRATION ⛪🎶

UNO-R Coro Recoleto of Recoletos Performing Arts, together with Kalinaw Chorale of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod, Memorare Chamber Singers, and Schola Cantorum Sancti Sebastiani, came together as a Grand Choir for the Canonical Possession and Solemn Installation of the Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, D.D., as the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Bacolod, held this morning, August 11, 2026, at the historic San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City.

The solemn celebration was graced by distinguished leaders of the Philippine Catholic Church, including His Excellency Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, who presided over the canonical installation of Bishop Galbines.

Through the ministry of music, the members of the Grand Choir joined the faithful in prayer and thanksgiving, contributing to the reverent and solemn celebration of this significant moment in the life of the Diocese of Bacolod.

May the music offered today continue to be a prayer for faith, unity, and service as Bishop Louie Galbines begins his pastoral ministry among the people of Bacolod.

Our three-day Sacred Music Workshop comes to a close as we completed learning the Make Us Worthy Mass repertoire composed by Rev. Fr. Leo G. Alaras, OAR.

Thank you, Fr. Leo, for sharing your music with us, and thank you, Sir Emil R. Cruz, for your guidance, patience, and dedication throughout the workshop.
