Orange Project is one tangible contribution towards the elevation of art consciousness in the island of Negros. Its mission is both simple and complex. It is expanding creative potentials in a flexible space that has blossomed into an art hub. It is exploration, collaboration, explosion, reflection, and crossed-discipline.

Some stories deserve to travel a little farther.

"Diri Man Ni" began with a journey—eleven artists from Bacolod traveling to Leipzig, Germany, bringing with them their experiences, questions, and the energy of home. What followed was an exhibition shaped by encounters across cultures, and eventually, a homecoming to Bacolod.

Now, we bring "Diri Man Ni" to a different kind of space. It is another way of celebration of what local artists can do when given the opportunity to go beyond familiar ground. From Bacolod to Germany, and now to an even wider audience, "Diri Man Ni" reminds us that the stories and practices born here have the capacity to travel.

Originally curated by Stephanie Frondoso and supported by the Goethe-Institut, the first installment of "Diri Man Ni" brought together works shaped by that journey. This new presentation continues that story, opening it up to new audiences and new encounters.

From here, and hopefully, further.

“Diri Man Ni: The Iteration” opens at the Negros Creative Corner, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, on August 21, 2026.

Before this exhibition comes to a close, we invite you to look again—or perhaps, to encounter art for the first time.

Panulok sits within a space surrounded by the rhythms of everyday life, where the works offer moments to “magtulok sing maayo”—to pause, look closely, and pay attention—as the world continues to move through uncertainty. This second installment expands the exhibition’s exploration of how we see, experience, and make meaning of the world around us. 💭

🎤 From August 13 to 15, we will also be hosting conversations with participating artists, offering an opportunity to hear more about their practices, perspectives, and the works in the exhibition.

Everyone is welcome. Come look again, look closer, or maybe see something you hadn’t noticed before.

Only three days left to encounter Panulok at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

For nearly two decades, Rafael Paderna, fondly known in the art community as Tito Paeng, dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring aspiring artists at the University of St. La Salle and La Consolacion College. He also served the local arts community as a multi-term president of the Art Association of Bacolod, the longest-running arts organization in Negros Island.

Two months ago, as we began preparing for what would become his exhibition, the Orange Project team had the privilege of visiting him. We were struck by how full of life he remained. His stories, humor, and wisdom reminded us why he had become such a beloved mentor, continuing to inspire us just as he had inspired generations of his students.

Today, we invite everyone to remember and celebrate Tito Paeng—not only as an artist, but as a mentor, a husband, a father, and a friend whose generosity and passion shaped countless lives.

Rest in peace, Tito Paeng. Your legacy lives on through the many people and artists whose lives you touched.
