MUSEO DIOCESANO de BACOLOD

-To expose and widen the perspective and appreciation of our Catholic faith, The Diocese of Bacolod recently established the Museo Diocesano de Bacolod. a repository of the various antiques, ecclesiastical books, vestments, sacred vessels and collection of arts and paintings that will remind us of our Catholic heritage. It is a historical testimony to the profound Catho

lic religiosity of the Negrense. The museum also organizes seasonal religious exhibits featuring the artwork of Bacolod and Negrense artists. The museum was made possible through the help of some benefactors & Papal Awardees who contributed to the construction of this museum and Religious Art Gallery. The blessing of the museum by Very Rev. Pasquin, Rector, of The San Sebastian Cathedral, was intentionally scheduled on the same day of the Feast of St. Sebastian last January 20,2014. It serves as a gift of our Diocese to our Bishop Most Rev. Navarra on his 75th birthday last January 22, 2014. Located at the 3rd level of The San Sebastian Pastoral Complex. Open to the public TUESDAYS to Sundays @ 10:00 A.M. and by appointment for group tours.
