I did not experience the Pathfinder program when I was a child because I graduated from a non-SDA elementary school. As I grew older, I realized how much I had missed: the friendships, the outdoor adventures, the honors, and, most of all, the spiritual foundation that Pathfindering builds in young hearts.
Because of this, I made a personal promise: by Godโs grace, I would do everything I could so that all childrenโincluding my ownโwould have the chance to experience this wonderful program within my sphere of influence.
For me, the Pathfinder Club is one of the best programs of our church for children and youth. It offers a church-centered, spiritual-recreational environment where young people learn to love God, serve others, develop their talents, and grow in character and leadership.
Through Pathfinders, boys and girls โenlarge their windows on the worldโ while building a deeper relationship with Jesus. They learn discipline, teamwork, and responsibility through honors, camping, community service, and Bible-based activities. More than skills and badges, they gain a sense of belonging to a global family of Adventist youth who are committed to Christ and to one another.
Today, I am grateful for every Pathfinder leader, parent, and pastor who invests time, prayer, and love into this ministry. Your faithfulness is shaping a generation that will carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
My prayer is that more children and youth will be given the opportunity to walk the Pathfinder pathโto know Jesus more deeply, to serve more willingly, and to live more fully for Him.
Thank you, and God bless our Pathfinder ministry.
