The inspiring figure behind —our beloved late Dr. Jose B. Ferraris, formerly the Dean of the College of Education, later took on the role of Director at the Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC). Dr. Ferraris was also a passionate co-founder of the UNO-R Center of Performing Arts, and cherished groups like the Kasadyahan Dance Company, Teatro Rekoleto, and Koro Rekoleto. Established in 1996 during the university's golden jubilee, the Kasadyahan Dance Company embodies our unwavering love for the performing arts. His legacy continues to inspire us today!

We are proudly supporting the grand festivities in the Province of Negros Occidental for the Pana-ad sa Negros Festival 2025 - Best of Festival Dance Competition! Join us this March 24, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Pana-ad Stadium.

In the municipality category, we support the incredible Tinabu-ay Festival of the Municipality of Murcia, and in the city category, we celebrate the vibrant Kansilay Festival of Silay City.

Kansilay Festival 2024 - GRAND CHAMPION
Tribu PasPas of Barangay E. Lopez 🌸🤍

The “Tribu PasPas” of Brgy. E. Lopez was hailed as the grand champion in the concluded Kansilay Festival 2024 Arena and Street Dance competition last June 12, 2024. The group also bagged the Best Kansilay character and Champion in Street Performance.

Indeed, in God’s perfect timing. I started as a choreographer in 2015, and this is the first time I won the Kansilay festival - Mr. Joven P. Alitao, head choreographer of Tribu PasPas.

Moreover, Tribu Cinco of Brgy. Cinco, Tribu Pantalan of Brgy. Mambulac, Tribu in Ramon of Brgy. Kapitan Ramon and Tribu Halaran of Brgy. Guinhalaran landed as first runner-up, second runner-up, third runner-up, and fourth runner-up, respectively.
