Happy Birthday Guys 🧡
To our friends, family, colleagues, and Doughnuts,
A year has passed by since we formed this band. In the ever-expanding width of time itself, a year is only a tiny dot in it, but it means so much to us we wouldn't give it for anything else. Even though we are still a long way from reaching where we want to be, we've also come a long way. From topping the Spotify playlists, opening for some of the country's biggest artists, to getting nominated for an Awit award, it's been a very fruitful year, to say the least, and it wouldn't have been possible if wasn't for all the support we've been given.
To Dave, thank you for bringing us under your wing with unstable records and believing in our music. We had a better chance of connecting people with our music because you reached out to us.
To sir Jan, our mastering engineer. Thank you for polishing the songs we made to the best it can be.
To Bon, our former drummer. Thank you for being part of the band even if it was just a short time. We cherish every moment you had with us (we'll invade your workplace to catch up with you).
To Tita Coleen and Chin Chin, we thank you two for taking the time to be our backstage crew. from assisting us with our make-up, wardrobe changes, photoshoots, video shoots, and whatever we might need you two are there to help us out. You ladies rock!
To Dos, the rapper extraordinaire we collaborate with frequently. Thank you for always giving us a hand in coming up with songs and for always making us laugh endlessly during our recording sessions.
To Danny and Shantel, we thank you for frequently collaborating and playing shows with us. When we were in a pickle and one of us couldn't make the show, you two would always come in clutch. This corner of the universe is more colorful with you two around.
To Khen, another frequent collaborator and dear friend of ours. Thank you for being a mentor figure in our journey as musicians and for always being a good hang.
To Sir Ed and the people at Lyrix, we thank you for always accommodating us with the events and ideas we had in mind.
To the bands and artists we've befriended along the way, we thank you for being so kind and accommodating of us. You all are our people and made us feel like we belong in the Bacolod local music scene.
To our friends, classmates, churchmates, significant others, and families, thank you all for being our rock that when nothing seems to go right you would snap us back to reality. All your support means the world to us.
To all the precious Doughnuts. From those who would put our songs on replay ad nauseam, the ones who would blow up the group chat with witty banter, the ones deft of hands who would make art of us, to the ones who would post their stories with our songs and everything in between, thank you so much for the constant support of our art. You make us feel that the music we make is going places and that we did something right.
And lastly, to God. We thank You for everything, as You have orchestrated the parts of this symphony called life and that this band could be what it is today. All the glory be to You.
It has been a great year, and we still have so much to offer to the world. To more years of music and fun times!
From yours truly,
Rees, Carl, Isaac, and Josh
