"𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦" reflects how I feel about the moments, people, and places that shape our lives. Even when they are not fully visible, something of them remains, an imprint of light, a softness on the surface of time. Like a shadow pressed against a wall, these traces linger quietly, suggesting that what once touched a space may still be here. Not always seen, but felt, resting gently between the memory of yesterday and return.

My work for Pintô Art Museum’s year-ender group show is called…

“Saan Papunta?”

It is a simple question, but it changes depending on who is looking and what they choose to see.

In this piece, the earth fills the entire canvas. No borders, no escape, no empty space to avoid. It’s the ground we stand on, the home we share, the world we keep shaping every single day. And as you look at it, the question begins to unfold.

Where is it going?
Where is the planet headed with the way we live, consume, and throw things away?
Where does your trash actually end up after the bin, after the truck, after we stop thinking about it?

But the question can easily turn back on us:
Where are you going?
In your habits, in your choices, in the future you’re creating without even noticing.
In life, in purpose, in direction.

This isn’t to preach or point fingers.
I want us to pause, to make us look at the world beneath our feet and wonder about all the things we forget to ask.

The earth is moving.
We are moving.
Our actions are moving.
The only real question is…

Inviting everyone to our group exhibit at Pinto Art Museum this coming November 23rd.

“We are pleased to invite you to view “HOMAGE TO GAIA”, a timely exhibit to honor Mother Earth which has been abused and has caused much peril to everyone!

The artists unite in this exhibition to urge everyone to be advocates for the protection of our very source of life. Expressed beautifully by the notes of Carlomar Daoana, which accompanies this invitation , lets all take time to think seriously about this pressing issue- we cant rely in government as recent events have unravelled!

So it is for everyone of us to do our share in protecting our interconnectness with nature, the very source of our lives.

Bring home, one of the artist’s artworks as a constant reminders for our families to continue our valuing of Mother Earth!

Lets all be crusaders in this mission!
There is no better way to celebrate the holidays than to resolve to bring health to our environment!”

Pintô Art Museum is proud to present "Luminosities," a revelatory exhibition that brings together 47 women artists, each contributing their unique perspectives, styles, themes, and material preoccupations.

On view at Ilustrado 1 of Gallery 7 until Nov. 26, the group show aims to showcase myriad interpretations of light. It goes beyond the concept of illumination to portray light as a tangible element, a universal symbol present in all cultures, and a representation of the divine. This collective narrative demonstrates the ability of art to shed light on our internal and external realities and bring visibility to the enduring qualities that make us human.

The Artists' Reception is slated on Nov. 12, Sunday, 4 PM. For inquiries, contact [email protected].
