A GROUP EXHIBITION OF ANGONO JUÑIOR ATELIERS AT ANGKLA ART GALLERY

The exhibit runs from July 18, 2026 to August 15, 2026.

This exhibition brings together the works of participating artists from Angono Junior Ateliers. Through a range of media, techniques, and perspective. The exhibition presents individual narratives of understanding oneself while fostering a shared dialogue on subjects that resonate with the human experience.

Each artwork presents a unique approach to narrating, sharing, and expressing individual perspectives, inviting viewers to engage with ideas of identity, memory, culture, society, and imagination. Although distinct in style and intent, the works collectively demonstrate the power of art to connect diverse voices and encourage reflection, conversation, and discovery.

ANGKLA Art Gallery, in cooperation with PETROS: Angono Art Galleries Association, proudly presents LIRIP, a group exhibition by the Angono Junior Ateliers Association.

Derived from the Filipino word lirip, meaning deep reflection and careful discernment, the exhibition invites viewers into a thoughtful exploration of truth, self-discovery, and the shared realities of the human experience.

Each artwork is a unique expression of the artist’s voice and perspective, exploring themes of identity, memory, culture, society, and imagination. While distinct in style and intention, the works collectively reveal the power of art to connect diverse voices, inspire meaningful dialogue, and cultivate hope even amid uncertainty and despair.

The On the Spot Painting Contest held yesterday, November 15, 2025, at the Angono Gymnasium, has officially concluded!

Coordinated by the dedicated Angono Ateliers Association with the invaluable assistance of the Angono Junior Ateliers Association and Angono Tourism, the event was a vibrant showcase of the town's artistic spirit. Young Artists gathered to transform blank canvases into masterpieces under the pressure of time, embodying the rich artistic heritage of Angono, Rizal.

Congratulations to all the participants for their incredible work and passion! A special thank you to the organizers and young volunteers for making this year's contest a resounding success. The future of Angono art is bright!
