Magbalaue Folk and Cultural Dance Club takes its name from the Kapampangan root word โ€œBalaue,โ€ which means hawk. Like the hawk that soars with grace, strength, and vision, Magbalaue rises with a purpose: to advocate for positive change in the way the new generation sees folk and cultural dance. It is a living legacy that continues to move, breathe, and inspire. Through every step, rhythm, and perf

ormance, Magbalaue carries the stories of our people and transforms them into a powerful celebration of identity, pride, and heritage. What a great achievement it is for the ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐›๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฎ๐ž ๐…๐จ๐ฅ๐ค ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› as we joined our first interschool competition and successfully attained ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ-๐ฎ๐ฉ in the recently held Gilas: Interschool Dance Competition at Holy Family Academy.

Our sincerest thank you to our dear choreographer, Mr. Allency Nacpil, whose guidance and dedication helped bring this piece to life and led us to this achievement.

The ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐›๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฎ๐ž ๐…๐จ๐ฅ๐ค ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› once again secured the championship in University Days 2026 โ€“ ๐๐ˆ๐๐‡๐ˆ: ๐€๐ง๐ข ๐ง๐  ๐€๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‹๐š๐ก๐ข, ๐’๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ: ๐Œ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, following their previous victory in University Days 2025 โ€“ AGOS: Paglayag ng mga Tanyag, Sabaybayin: Mass Dance Competition. The group was also awarded ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ-๐ฎ๐ฉ in the ๐’๐ฎ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ : ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, successfully defending their place after also earning the same recognition in the previous Saliwaliw: Street Dance Competition.

A huge thank you to the groupโ€™s choreographers โ€” Kriztal Anne Manalastas, John Vincent Diaz, Mark Tongol, and Jared Tarenio โ€” for their continuous dedication and creativity in building the pieces that led us to victory. We also extend our gratitude to the production team, who invested their time and effort in creating the props that completed our performances.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our supportive moderator, Mr. Allency Nacpil, for his unwavering guidance and commitment.
