We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Guest Lecturers, Mr. Ruzzel Valenzuela and Mr. Mark Anthony De Guzman of Bulacan State University for generously sharing their expertise, knowledge, and passion for folk dance. Their dedication and guidance have greatly inspired our student-artists to strive for excellence and deepen their understanding of the art of dance.

Meet Our Guest Lecturers!

The CCA Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe proudly welcomes our distinguished guest lecturers for the Intensive Workshop on Philippine Folk Dance!

Joining us are Mr. Ruzzel Valenzuela and Mr. Mark Anthony De Guzman of Bulacan State University, both former members of the renowned BULSU Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Troupe. Through their expertise, passion, and years of experience in Philippine folk dance, they will guide our participants in strengthening their technical skills while deepening their appreciation for the country's rich cultural heritage.

As we continue our commitment to preserving and promoting Filipino traditions through dance, we are honored to learn from individuals who have dedicated themselves to the artistry and cultural significance of Philippine folk dances.

The CCA Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe conducts an Intensive Workshop on Philippine Folk Dance on June 18–19, 2026, at the CCA Dance Studio. The activity aims to enhance the participants’ technical skills, cultural awareness, and appreciation of Philippine folk dances through intensive lectures and hands-on training.

The workshop features guest lecturers Mr. Ruzzel Valenzuela and Mr. Mark Anthony De Guzman, both from Bulacan State University and former members of the BULSU Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Troupe, who share their expertise and experiences in folk dance performance and cultural preservation.

More than developing artistic excellence, the workshop serves as a platform to strengthen the troupe’s commitment to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Filipino people.
