MECHANICS

📌 Song may be written in English or Tagalog with the theme "Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!"

Mabuhay ang mga Artista at Iskolar ng bayan!

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝗪𝗶𝗻! 🏆✨

On February 12, 2026, the PUP Bagong Himig Serenata has been awarded its 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅 at the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹. This marks not only our first Grand Prix, but also the first Grand Prix won by a Philippine choir this year. Truly, this is a significant and symbolic milestone for our group.

The road to this victory was far from easy. We prepared for months, faced overlapping competitions, and managed other productions along the way. Yet today, we can proudly say that every sacrifice was worth it, and our hard work has been paid off.
