I was with this amazing brother two months ago during our trip to the Southern Highlands. He’s really something else, passionate about what he does, super organized, and completely self-taught. Just too good.
Much respect brother Kevin 🙏.

⚡Highlights from the ADVANCED DIGITAL TOURISM WORKSHOP in Port Moresby.

The PNG Tourism Promotion Authority (TPA), in partnership with Pacific Trade Invest Australia, recently hosted an Advanced Digital Tourism Workshop in Port Moresby. The training brought together tourism operators from across PNG to explore digital tools that can boost global visibility, online bookings, and business resilience.

“Digital transformation is not a luxury—it’s a necessity,” said PTI Australia’s Trade Commissioner, Tim Martin.
“Even small operators in PNG can reach global markets with the right tools and support.”

This here is uranium ore, basically a rock that contains uranium, which is mainly used as fuel in nuclear reactors and for making nuclear weapons. But not the whole rock gets used. In fact, only about 0.7% of the uranium in it is the isotope U-235, which is the one that’s actually fissionable.
To build a nuclear bomb, that tiny fraction has to be enriched way above its natural concentration, think somewhere between 20% and up to 90% or more U-235. So yeah, it’s not like you just dig it up and boom , it takes a whole lot of processing to turn that small percentage into something weapon grade.
Iran was supposed to stick to enriching uranium at just 3.67% under the 2015 nuclear deal, but it's now got over 400 kg enriched to 60%, much closer to weapons grade.
This raises security concerns, which resulted in the current conflict between them and Israel and the bombing of Natanz( Iran's nuclear facility) by the US.

When it comes to your safety and you're planning to travel overseas, it's wise to consider airlines like Qantas, Air New Zealand, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. These carriers are known for their strong safety records and outstanding safety culture. But we never know, accidents do happen and it can hit us unexpectedly.

While there may be economic benefits associated with the project, it presents a significant risk to the ecosystem and marine life. For many people in New Ireland and the broader New Guinea Islands region, the sea is not just a natural resource, it is a primary source of livelihood and sustenance. This raises important questions: Have thorough and independent assessments been conducted to ensure that the proposed operations will not harm marine ecosystems? Moreover, are there examples from other jurisdictions where similar seabed mining activities have been carried out successfully without adverse environmental consequences? Such evidence would be critical in building public confidence and ensuring informed decision-making.
