today we start Post production for two videos for the Bible Society of PNG, 🎞️✂️

for their event this Saturday 25th, they wanted;

1. a 3-5minute Impact video detailing the translation of New Testament Bible into local Mailu & Magi languages

2. a 3-5minute Promotional video detailing the work of Bible Society in PNG.

We thank VFX Haus PNG for assisting with the filming of interviews last Thursday 📆 16/04/26 while we were away in Goroka! 📹

Today we wrap two weeks in Goroka! 📹

We would like to thank Mendikwae Group Ltd for engaging us as your media team to cover your mini celebration for your 50th Anniversary! 🎊🎉🎆

HKF was task with;
i. filming & photographing the pig killing & mumu event, 📹📸
ii. vlogging their distribution of food & gifts to previous long serving staff, 📷🤳🏽
iii. filming interviews with family members & staff, 🎬📹
iv. editing a highlight video, 🎞️✂️

19/3/26🗓️ Day 3 and final day of the Smartphone Documentary Filmmaking workshop with the field officers in Lae. The participants learned Video & Photo editing where we covered; Lighting, Color, Import & Export, basic editing functions, Text/graphics, and Export quality! They utilized the Capcut editing App and edited their own short Videos.
This skill will help them in compiling their pictures videos and assist in their field reporting and presentations. 📱✂️🎞️

Day 2/3: we covered Camera Skills with the field officers to help them capture quality images & videos for their reporting & presentations.
The Field officers were taken to the Rainforest Habit Sanctuary to practice their Framing & Composition, Types of Shots, Depth of Field and other camera skills that they learned.

Day 1 of our 3 days "Smart-phone Documentary Filmmaking" training with - PNG in Lae.
We covered Sound Skills - were we discussed the importance of Sound in video production, sound equipment, different types of sound, and recording styles. Participants got to practice recording sound on their phones with different different equipment. 🎤

That's a Wrap!🎬

To end the Production phase of the "Garamago to Greatness" documentary, we traveled to Brisbane on the 28th August to Sept 4th to interview our Lead subject.📹
On Sept 17th, we traveled back to Goroka to collect additional footage, photographs, and finalize interviews.📹

We have now WRAPPED filming and will continue Post Production the entire month of October to finalize this documentary. 🎞️✂️

We are excited to premier it in November and a date will be announced towards the end of this month!📽️ Stay tuned!

1. We were at Hilton Hotel covering the Independence partners breakfast for from 8.30am to 11.30am,
2. We returned to cover their dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm📹
