Pasta Making Workshop
At Vukhanda Artist Space
Vukhanda Artist Space invites you to a day-long Pasta Making Workshop focused on learning the art of fresh pasta from scratch. Participants will explore traditional techniques of pasta dough preparation, rolling, shaping, and cooking, while enjoying the shared joy of making and eating food together.
This workshop is open to everyone including visual or performing artists, culinary artists, food practitioners, and any enthusiasts in food or creative practice. No prior professional training is required. Beyond learning pasta-making skills, the session is designed as a collective experience, offering space to connect, exchange ideas, build friendships, and enjoy a meaningful shared time through food.
Chef Bio
Chef Khorsed Alam is a Bangladeshi-born, world-class pasta chef with over 30 years of professional experience. He spent nearly two decades working in Rome, including at renowned kitchens such as Ad Hoc Roma, before moving to the United Kingdom, where he currently works at Vero Moderno, Manchester. His practice combines deep-rooted Italian culinary traditions with years of international expertise.
