Run 2.0 Nizwa was designed as more than a sporting event.

Alongside 1,300 participants and 6,000 visitors, the event created opportunities for local involvement through 10 productive family businesses, 7 SMEs from the governorate, and 70 volunteers, including 40 from Al Dakhiliyah.

When communities participate, local businesses benefit, skills are developed, and cities become more active and connected.

That's the wider impact we're working to create through EATCO's sport platforms.

صُمم رن 2.0 نزوى ليكون أكثر من مجرد فعالية رياضية.

فإلى جانب 1,300 مشارك و6,000 زائر، ساهم الحدث في خلق فرص حقيقية للمشاركة المحلية من خلال 10 مشاريع أسرية منتجة، و7 مؤسسات صغيرة ومتوسطة من المحافظة، و70 متطوعًا، من بينهم 40 متطوعًا من محافظة الداخلية.

فعندما يشارك المجتمع، تزدهر الأعمال المحلية، وتُطوَّر المهارات، وتصبح المدن أكثر حيوية وترابطًا.

وهذا هو الأثر الأوسع الذي نسعى إلى تحقيقه من خلال منصات الرياضة التابعة لـ إيتكو.

What happens when a community shows up?

At Run 2.0 Nizwa, over 1,300 participants took part across the 5KM, 10KM, Fun Run, and Kids Run categories, while 6,000 visitors came together to support the event.

The numbers matter. But what stayed with us was the atmosphere — families cheering from the sidelines, children experiencing their first race, and a city embracing movement together.

Because the strongest events aren't measured only by participation. They're measured by the sense of community they create.

ماذا يحدث عندما يجتمع المجتمع؟

في رن 2.0 نزوى، شارك أكثر من 1,300 متسابق في سباقات 5 كم و10 كم وسباق المرح وسباق الأطفال، بينما حضر أكثر من 6,000 زائر لدعم الحدث والمشاركة في أجوائه.

الأرقام مهمة، لكن ما بقي معنا أكثر هو الأجواء التي صنعها الناس — عائلات تشجّع من على الجانبين، أطفال يخوضون أول تجربة سباق لهم، ومدينة بأكملها تحتفي بالحركة معًا.

لأن أقوى الفعاليات لا تُقاس بعدد المشاركين فقط، بل بروح المجتمع التي تتركها خلفها.
