The only planing I do is when I first start a piece, by selecting a specific canvas size and colour scheme of the acrylic paints, The decisions made after that are solely based on letting my imagination and fluidity of the patterns lead the way. I call my style of painting 'Limited Freedom', because I have the freedom to explore the canvas in any direction and any pattern till I get to the edges o
f the canvas where I reach my limit. Although there is a similar style in my paintings, each and every one of them have their own personality and uniqueness. Each painting takes about a week to ten days to complete, it all depends on the size of the painting. My customers have an option in canvas size and colours, and orders can be made via email or phone call. All paintings are courier delivered, postage depends on the size (weight) of the piece. Fingers &thumbs
Fingers & Thumbs is a name derived from the way I work on my ceramics, by coiling, pinching and moulding. I'm a mother of four and my family and I have lived in many countries, and have learnt from different cultures' art forms and disciplines. George's Church, Madaba, Jordan and since then I have been creating mosaics pieces which has then lead me to the discovery of pottery. I have always had an interest in creating a balance of body and mind with practicing Tai Chi, and becoming a Reiki master. I believe that as well as Tai Chi and Reiki, art forms such as mosaic and pottery also create a balance of body and mind and is a good form of meditation. I have been a Studio Potter for 6 years now and I intend to explore my ability for years to come.
