A week of works in development...

ONEONESIX supports artists to create, develop and present local stories to local audiences, and next week, we'll be hosting two new works emerging into the world.

Bring Me The Horns of Presque Vu's Cow - Tess Sullivan
Wednesday 3 June, 6:30pm–7:30pm

An absurd piece of theatre born from the frequent experience of having a name, a word, a memorised text, on the tip of the tongue but failing to recall it under pressure.

We’re super excited to present a development showing of Bring Me The Horns of Presque Vu’s Cow by Tāmaki Makaurau theatre maker Tess Sullivan.

Inspired by Thomas Hardy's novel Tess of the d'Ubervilles, this is an absurdist piece of theatre born from the frequent experience of having a name, a word, a memorised text, on the tip of the tongue but failing to recall it under pressure.

As well as a thrilling solo performance, this showing will include resource sharing and a discussion with the artist, making it a great opportunity for anyone curious about the creative process behind developing solo work. Register online in advance, koha on the day.
