The Barge Showgrounds Events Centre situated on State Highway 14, Maunu, Whangarei (a few minutes drive from Whangarei CPO) is a modern multi-purpose function centre designed to be flexible, with a dining capacity for up to 200 people.

Last week at our AGM, Neville Edge and Dick Thorburn with special tractor pins, and thanked them for their service to the Show.

“Sometimes people work quietly behind the scenes, year after year, helping to make their part of the Show something special. Their efforts may not always be widely seen, but without them, an important and much-loved part of the Show simply would not happen.

For many years, Neville and Dick, representing the Northland Vintage Machinery Club, have generously supported the Show. They have encouraged the club and its members to be involved and have helped create a terrific display of vintage tractors and machinery for everyone to enjoy.''
