All Tuned Up - Male Vocal Chorus

If you are interested in joining ATU, these are the vocal ranges.

We are especially interested in gaining Tenors but also have 1 bass and 1 baritone space left.
We will hold try outs in February 2026 with the start of the year. You simply join for the month and after about 4 weeks we will be able to see if you are a good fit. 16 singers is our max.
You will have to commit to weekly rehearsals, 8 performances a year and some home study. We preferably seek singers with solo capacities.
Rehearsals every Wednesday evening in Vera Dirksen-Pluijlaar Vocal Teacher Whangarei home studio in Kensington.

Greetings Vera,
This is a personal “thank you” from me.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sunday’s concert. My biggest joy has been male choirs, although I have worked with mixed voice, children’s and women’s choirs.
The men looked very relaxed and confident and sounded equally so. Your programme was varied and interesting. We are getting many rave comments coming through.
I am putting together next year’s concert series. If it’s not too much to ask - would you please consider coming again?
