A quiet afternoon at Fine Art Whanganui Gallery today.

When the gallery slows down, the easel comes out. One of our artist members, Coin Qian, has been making the most of the afternoon light and spending a few hours working on her latest painting.

We rather like days like this — a gallery isn’t only a place where finished artworks are displayed. Sometimes, it’s also a place where new work quietly begins to take shape.

If you’re passing by, pop in and say hello. You might even catch a painting in progress. 🎨
