We had a wee celebration of the new studio build on the weekend! Can't wait to be officially working from this space and to be able to welcome anyone interested to come through. We are looking forward to hosting the recycled glass workshop this Saturday. It's a busy season and we wouldn't be here without all our amazing friends, whanau and community - thanks everyone!

Just out of the kiln!

As part of my ongoing exploration of recycled crushed glass, I've been experimenting with different art applications, as well as glass clay. These are native plant leaves, love capturing their delicate textures and patterns in glass, alongside a small collection of handmade beads.

There's always a sense of anticipation when opening the kiln, now for the cleaning and finishing!
