🏡 We come to you! You provide the venue, your favourite people and refreshments. We bring the creative fun!

✨ We'll take your masterpieces away for kiln firing and deliver them back to your host a few days later

Ok, the post many of you have been waiting for - I'm already receiving messages asking if I'll be doing this again this year - and the answer is of course!! 🎄🎅

Now if you're not ready to hear that Christmas is only 82 days away (11weeks 5days) this is your warning to stop reading here. 😅

RedlowGypsy Christmas Crackers are back!! 🎄And they have had an overhaul. This year's crackers contain FUSED glass suncatchers. With delicious little glass inclusions all the way from Tabitha's Glass Emporium in Croatia, there are 2 styles to chose from - sweet miniature gardens and deep blue sea. 💐🐠

😎One thing that hasn't changed is the price. This year's cost of living has bitten hard so I'm keeping the prices the same as last year.

This afternoon we had our term 3 Young Creators Showcase. 🎨✨️ Celebrating our amazing aspiring artists and the art pieces they have made this past term. Once again the support these kids have from extended family and friends just blew my mind - the turn out was amazing! 🤯
💜✨️Just a week ago this room was a cluttered storage space with bare gib and plaster walls. It transformed beautifully into the RedlowGypsy Gallery space and complimented the ajoining studio space perfectly - giving us plenty of room to display the kids artworks.

🎨 And thats a wrap on our term 3 Young Creators art classes! Phew! Its been another full on term of creating and exploring a wide range of mediums - clay, paint, glass, wool and wood. 🌈

Everyone has made a stellar effort and there's a fabulous array of artworks ready to go into our showcase. 💜✨️

😎So while the kids move into holiday mode the hard work begins for me as I get our gallery space painted and set up ready for the end of term celebration.

Looking forward to seeing all our creative families come together to see our term results! 🎨🥰

We have reached the last week of term 3. This is the longest term of the year, and everyone's tired and ready for the holidays. 😴

🎨The Monday Young Creators pulled one out of the bag today and made these incredible acrylic pours - look at the cell detail that came out in these beauties!

As a glass artist it goes without saying that ill always include glass in my children's Young Creators programme. 🌈
The best thing about this is - so far every child LOVES working with glass! 💜✨️
This term we made fused glass sun chimes.
😍Today 2 groups assembled their fused pieces by strunging them with beads before hanging them off driftwood and they look amazing!
Can't wait to see them all hanging in the big bay windows of the studio😊

Teaching kids isnt always sunshine rainbows and lollipops.... especially in the depths of winter. 🌈🍭❄️

Winter was hitting my Thursday Young Creators HARD this week. Their little creative batteries were well and truely flat. 🔋🎨

"I'm tiiired", "I don't want to do this", "I don't want to cut with THESE scissors" "I can't find any green" "My glue is too sticky" 🤯

Add in some sniffling, coughing, and general is-it-the-holidays-yet energy, and I had a room full of little people ready for the weekend.

🥰And you know what? Thats OK. A safe creative space also means being allowed to have an off day. Not every week needs to produce a masterpiece. Sometimes creative batteries just need recharging🔋

Primary school teachers - HATS OFF TO YOU. 👒👏 There is clearly some vital ingredient you possess (or perhaps you're missing entirely🤣) that enables you to do this 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. 🍷🍷

My 1 hour today had me declaring it a "TRASH & DASH"

Nope. Don't tidy up.

Just go. 😂😂

One of the biggest joys the space ive made available for my Young Creators groups brings is watching the kids relax into the environment. 🥰
This term there's a new class running. My Wednesday group. The first couple of weeks were really quiet, its been so cool to see each week these kids becoming more confident and relaxed in the studio space. They now rival my Monday class for volume, each child bringing their songs, humming and chattering away and openly just being themselves. I love it! ✨️💜

✨️ Art is a wonderful outlet for kids - a chance to explore their world, try new things, and express themselves. 🎨

🥰 New things and new environments can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, so making sure my Young Creators feel safe and secure is really important to me.

Parents are always welcome to stay until their child feels confident enough to go it alone (and beyond). Art is also a wonderful outlet for mums and dad's! And truth be told - I love watching the interactions between parent and child as they create together - not just art - but core memories too. 💜✨️
