The Gypsy Fair is a nationwide travelling event, bringing family fun & an unbeatable vibe to each town🌞 Travelling NZ for 45+ years, its safe to say our roots run deep! New Zealand's "Original Gypsy Fair" Est. 1990 has travelled throughout the North and South Islands between September and May. The Gypsy Fair is now under new ownership and management and is still the old iconic fair of the past 30+

years and will bring you a new exciting look and vibe as we continue to travel New Zealand. FREE entry, family friendly, with live music, creative stalls, food, bouncy castle, fun, and much more. This is a great chance to visit, meet the travellers and support those making a living on the road. The Gypsy Fair is New Zealand's longest-running fair and has an eclectic range of mobile homes which you can admire as you walk among the stalls. COF preparations for the old boy - Elliot.

Freshly rebuilt power steering box, new set of brake linings and he’s ready for a thorough inspection and hopefully the tick of approval to head off for next seasons travels.

He’s an old boy, established in 1978 he’s very easy to work on, no computers complaining, no sensors to upset, just pure American steel.

With 120,000 original miles he still loves getting loaded to the brim with all the toys, seating, shades sails etc you see around the Fair, to top it off he also pulls our Ute around on a A-Frame. 350hp of turbocharged diesel power, there’s nothing holding him back 💨

What a work horse!

Be sure to keep and eye out for him as we make our way from Christchurch up to Papamoa for the first fair of the season - September 19 & 20 Simpson Reserve.

We can’t wait to see you all, starting strong with you Papamoa😻 Our crew will be beginning their travels within the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled Aotearoa! We’ll be coming from far and wide all across NZ, so make sure to give us a toot if you see any of our crew cruising through your town🚛🌞

Some seasons are about the places you go. This one was about the people who walked the road beside us.

And with that, our 2025/2026 season comes to an end 🤍🌿✨

What a ride. What a crew. These people might just be the most incredible bunch Oskar and I have had the privilege of not only travelling alongside, but also calling family.

This lifestyle can throw so many challenges your way. Long days, long roads, and plenty of unknowns. Yet somehow, when you’re surrounded by this much heart, support and genuine community, it becomes easier to face it all — because you know you’re not doing it alone.

These people become our anchors. Our home.

They’ve seen us on our hardest days and on our best. When we’re ready to take on the world, and when we’re too exhausted to leave the house. Every high, every low, every colour in between. They’ve seen it all — and they’re still standing here, backing one another.

And while the fair rolls from town to town, we have the privilege of watching our Gypsy kiddos grow up alongside it — with muddy feet, big adventures, and a whole travelling community surrounding them - (as we always say, the kids really are the heart of the fair).

To our Gypsy Fair family — thank you for the laughs, the grit, the hard work, and the endless support. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

The road rests for now… but the spirit of the fair never really stops.

Until the next season… safe travels, big love, and we’ll see you down the road. 🌙🚛✨
