When you're facing a difficult decision, who do you turn to for advice? Your wife? Your doctor? Your best mate?
Frank has a different idea.

He turns to The Godfather.

Don Corleone is Frank's fantasy advisor — and he's got some thoughts on what a real man should do when faced with the dreaded snip.

Whether Frank should actually be taking advice from The Godfather is another question entirely.

MEET JENNY (from SNIP)

Jenny is a wife and mum of three.
She's tired, she's busy, and she's had enough of carrying the responsibility for contraception.
For Jenny, it's pretty simple. It's Frank's turn.
But Frank isn't exactly rushing to volunteer for the snip.

What follows is a funny and sometimes all-too-familiar battle between two people who love each other — but don't always agree on how to make family life work.

SNIP is a sharp, warm-hearted comedy about marriage, family, responsibility and strengthening the relationship between two people who are trying to make it all work.

You don’t have to be on stage to be part of the magic! We’re putting together a volunteer list for future Theatre Whakatāne productions and events, and we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for people interested in:
🎧 Tech
🔨 Set/build crew
🎟️ Front of House
🎬 Stage crew
🎨 Props
👗 Wardrobe
💄 Hair & Makeup
…and plenty of other behind-the-scenes jobs!

You don’t need to have loads of experience — if you’re keen to get involved, learn something new and be part of the theatre whānau, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re also currently looking for Front of House and Stage Crew volunteers for our upcoming production of Bonking James Bond & SNiP. 🎭
