Ngaa mihi o te waa ki a taatou e te whaanau. This week will be one of the biggest weeks we’ve had since our pakihi started up. With Matariki blooming and also holding our first stall, we though we’d drop our prices.

Our Matariki prep is onways…

Over the next week or so we will be getting ready for our first ever event. We will be holding a stall in Whakatāne at Matariki Whakapiri.

Circles, circles, circles

Mahi
-
Last week was a hectic week for the business. We had 8 orders to complete. Our business runs from 7pm to usually 9:30pm but we had to pull everything we had to get these completed with perfection.
-
Mahi toi is such a different ball game and as full time working māmā who own a small business, we put our all into making sure our customers are happy with their purchase.
-
We are stoked to be able to have our mahi in some pretty cool places, such as kura, organizations and even the beehive.

Haka idol to the daysss an artist ive grown up knowing all my life. A wahine who i look up too in all of my mahi toi. When i began this mahi i didnt know the type of style i wanted and then I remember going to an exhibition she done for all of my nans song compositions and i remember seeing all these diamond pieces… i thought to myself, now if i was ganna start something, id want it to look something like that too. Now look at where we are. One day we’ll hope to be as creative and inspiring as she is with her mahi
