From Rumba to Reggaetón, Cuban dancer/choreographer and CubanFusion founder Rafael Ferrer Noel performs and teaches a range of Afro-Cuban dance styles including Rumba, Son, Mambo, Cha Cha Chá, Cuban Salsa/Casino and Reggaetón, as well as Afro-Cuban Contemporary dance. Rafael also sings and plays percussion in a number of Wellington-based bands including his very own 8-piece Afro-Cuban jazz band "M

aferefún Yemayá", the Cuban quartet “Calle Cuba”, Cuban trio "Son de Cuba" and Cuban duo “Madera Fina”. In addition to its regular Cuban Salsa classes CubanFusion also runs many free dance and music events. CubanFusion is available for private lessons and functions including one-on-ones, wedding and performance choreographies, our very popular hens' party entertainment and work socials/team building exercises - we can even provide the live music! Gift vouchers are also available for both our group classes and private lessons.

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS FROM CUBANFUSION:

Sadly, after almost twenty years and for a combination reasons, we have decided to discontinue Rafael's Tuesday night Salsa Classes.

Rafael will however still be available for private Salsa and Afro-Cuban classes, including one-off and multiple 1on1s, 1on2s and self-organised groups (min 10) on top of our existing paid "gigs", events and festival invitations like:

-Breast Cancer Pink Street Party (Oct)
-Bay Salsa Festival in Tauranga (Oct)
