The Maniac has defenestrated himself for the last time. Thanks to our excellent cast for their entertaining and energetic performances, our hard-working crew for their dedicated support, and our audiences for their laughter and lovely feedback. While Accidental Death of an Anarchist is taking a rest, our October production, The Lady's Not For Burning is now in full swing, having had its first readthrough. Director Ruth Sarratt and some of her crew enjoyed listening to the cast deliver this delightfully funny script with a serious underlying message.

We're delighted to have Paul Kay and Joy Hellyer directing for us again. They've recently moved to Ngaio and Paul says they are greatly enjoying the short trip to Cochran Hall from their new home. “Our primary affiliation is with Stagecraft, which is based in the city, but we do enjoy working with the team at KAT. This is the third play we’ve co-directed with them and it’s such a bonus not having to drive from where we used to live, on the other side of town.”

Their production of Dario Fo's biting satire opens tomorrow!
