R.I.P DOLLY ❤❤❤

I know my social feed is full of amazing tributes to Dolly Parton, so yours probably is too. I won’t repeat it all, except to say that we have lost an incredible songwriter, performer, activist, philanthropist — and all-round beautiful human being. ❤️

So, as a little celebration of Dolly’s amazing legacy, I’ve pulled 9 to 5 out of the NSD vault and given her a complete makeover — big hair, long nails, girls up, red lips… the works! 💃🍨🍨💋✨

And we’ll be dancing to Dolly in all of our upcoming NSD classes!

If you’re keen to dance tonight (Thursday 27 August), don’t forget the change of venue!

Hi everyone

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our annual pyjama class, or who donated pyjamas. It was so much fun for a great cause.

Thank you to the amazing Kate Ridley and family for all the work they put into their annual pyjama drive, and thank you for letting the Never Stop Dancing community be a part of this wonderful initiative.

Kate and family delivered over 100 pairs of PJs to the Wellington City Mission and the Wellington Women's House, where they were happily received, just in time for the freezing weather.

I have shared a group photo from the class, as well as some photos of some of the PJs collected.

Thanks again for everyone who joined in.

NSD PYJAMA CLASS - THIS SUNDAY - WEAR YOUR PJs FOR A GOOD CAUSE 😆

Hi everyone

This Sunday (28 June 2026) we are doing our annual NSD Pyjama Class in conjunction with the amazing Kate Ridley & family ... yippee!

Wear your PJs (optional), and bring along a pack of new kids' or adults' winter pyjamas (also optional). The amazing Kate will make sure all the donated PJs get to the Wellington City Mission or the Wellington Women's House.

Class is at the usual time and place: 10am, Mt Cook School Gym, 160 Tory St, Te Aro. If you can't make it on Sunday, but wish to donate, just bring your new kids' or adults PJs to class this week or next.

Dance your socks off (or is it your slippers 🤣), and help someone in need be a little bit more cosy this winter!

Thank you to everyone who has brought along PJs to date!

I cannot believe that Never Stop Dancing is turning 10 years old this year ... woohoo!!!

We will be celebrating with an extra special 10th BIRTHDAY PARTY on the night of FRIDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2026!

So, pop that date in your diary📆, and if anyone else in your life suggests another event for that evening, just say: "I won't be able to make it sorry ... I will be DANCING!!!"

The amazing Melanie (NSD regular), who is a cancer researcher & scientist, is doing the Relay for Life to raise money for the Cancer Society. Melanie is planning on dancing her way around the course, and asked if I could share her fundraiser with you all:

"Kia ora - I'm Melanie, a NSD Sunday morning regular, and I am a cancer researcher and scientist. On May 30-31 I will be dancing around the Relay for Life relay track all night to support the Cancer Society. They provide support, advocacy and research to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer, and I'm hitting the track in my dancing shoes to support them.
