HUGE THANK YOU 🥳🙏❤

Hi everyone

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came and danced yesterday to celebrate NSD's 9th Birthday.

It was SO MUCH FUN dancing with you all, seeing all the fab costumes 😍🤠😺👩‍🎤💃👙👑🍊, having so many people come up on stage with me, and then chatting over cake afterwards🎂. Here is 1 of the group photos from the end ... bodies sweaty🥵 ... hair messy🪹 ... gogo boots long gone (that was just me)😆 ... but so many smiles😁🥰❤.

Thanks again to the amazing Bek for all your fantastic choreography & teaching & all round fabulousness❤. Thank you to Helen for all your help yesterday (not to mention the 30-mumble years of friendship)❤. And of course, thank you to Giles for everything❤😘.

Finally, thank you to absolutely everyone who has come along to a class and danced in the past 9 years, or joined up to NSD Online & danced at your place, or danced along with us on YouTube🙏🙏. I absolutely love what I do, and I am incredibly grateful to you all for making it possible❤❤❤.

REMINDER: NSD'S 9TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!

Hi Everyone

Never Stop Dancing's 9th Birthday celebration is this SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 2025 ... yippee!!

The Birthday class starts at 10am, at Mt Cook School Gym, 160 Tory St (all welcome), and will involve:

-a super fun class ... filled to the brim with big bangers this year 🥳
-dress up if you wish (a song, lyric or artist that we dance to in class 🤠👩‍🎤🎩👑) ... just kidding about the tinfoil 🤭
-come up on stage if you dare 💪
-Birthday cake & yummy treats after class 🎂
-cost: just sign in for class as per usual ... no extra cost 🙌. If you are new to NSD, then this class can totally be your first free class: www.neverstopdancing.co.nz

In the meantime, classes on Thursday & Friday are on at their usual times / venues.

Finally, daylight savings starts in the wee small hours of Sunday morning ... so, ignore the clock on the oven, so you don't miss out on all the fun ⏰

All classes this week are at their usual venues - no changes.

Next week, we have 2 venue changes, as Mt Cook School hall is being used for school events.

I am also going away for a few days, so there is 1 class cancellation, and the amazing Bek will be taking a couple of classes 🔥🔥.

Just a wee reminder that there is a time & venue change for the Never Stop Dancing class on Thursday 7 August 2025:

Time: 7.00 - 8.00pm
Venue: NZ School of Dance, 11 Hutchison Rd, Newtown

There is lots of free parking available at the venue. Just head in through the main doors ... the lovely person at reception will point you in the direction of our studio.

I have a super fun class planned ... so be there or be square 😆.

The wonderful Piper (NSD regular) is doing the polar plunge on Saturday 26 July to raise funds for the special Olympics, and in particular towards giving people with intellectual disability/autism opportunities to play sport, experience joy and belong.

AMAZING ART EXHIBITION BY NSD LEGEND REBECCA MOONEY🎨

Hi everyone

I have decided that we have such an amazing NSD community, that I would like to share when our members are doing something amazing or interesting. To that end, our very own Rebecca Mooney is part of a fantastic art exhibition at the Thistle Hall Gallery (on the corner of Cuba & Arthur Streets) ❤. The exhibition is called "The Art of Friendship" https://www.instagram.com/theart.of.friendship/ because it is 3 artist friends exhibiting together, and it runs through to 6 July 2025. I would really encourage people to go along and check out these 3 amazing Wellington artists 😍.

Now, I must confess to having a bit of a special interest in Rebecca's exhibition 🤭😁, as I recently had the privilege of creating Rebecca's new website ... which was so much fun ❤ ... check it out here: https://www.rebeccamooney.co.nz/

I am definitely serious about sharing interesting things that members of our NSD community are up to. So, if you have a venture or endeavour that you think might be of interest to the group ... just let me know.
