The Rules of the Challenge:
To keep the playing field fair and square, here is how the competition works:
One Shot Per Room: You only get one official attempt per specific room during the competition period—so make it count!
Boost Your Chances: Want a better shot at winning? You are more than welcome to try your hand at different rooms across our venues to dominate multiple leaderboards.
The Slate is Wiped Clean: Only games played during this official two-week period count toward the prize. If you already hold a record from earlier this year, it’s time to come back and defend your title at a different room!
Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
Locations: Valid at Escape Masters Auckland C*D, Wellington, and Rotorua branches.
Campaign Period: Competition runs strictly from 19 June to 3 July 2026.
Fair Play Policy: Teams must play the rooms blindly. Players cannot repeat the same room during the competition period. If a player is found to have re-played a room to gain an unfair advantage, that time slot will be disqualified. (Playing different rooms/themes is fully permitted and encouraged!)
The Prize: One free return game voucher per winning team, valid for up to the exact group size of the record holder.
