I bought a Lavender & Coffee Essential oil blend Amethyst Roller into work today & I just love the comforting aroma. I have very sensitive skin, but the carrier oil of Grape Seed is awesome for my skin. The smell is very comforting & sweet - it reminds me of freshly baked chocolate brownies. Hey everyone - we went out to a lavender field/farm in Martinborough and I, along with EVERYONE else who was visiting, took some photos - check them out .

I know that quote is kinda long, but oh well. It just seems fitting for this time of year, which I always regard as a time of reflection. Christmas and the New Year, coupled with New Zealands summer, make this time in particular a phase of great transition. Of course my birthday is coming up on the 7th of next month. And hopefully with that transmutation, becoming closer to gold. Because, all this struggle through everyday life has got to be worth it, somehow, in the end. Otherwise, why would we try so hard! I do believe in constant improvement, and basically that's what alchemy is so I believe that there are ways to transmute through life. Of course, since we are coming up to my new age and a new year, and going through the drama that can happen at Christmas, this will be a time of great learning and I honour and am grateful for these opportunities to grow. Speaking of growing, a Pohutukawa Tree is growing crazy outside of our door and all of that combined, reminds me of the merry time of the year and that I needed to be remained of the profound truth. So I hope ya enjoy the quote - and no, unfortunately I haven't yet read the book, but it's definitely on my summers' reading list. Mauri Ora x Thanks for reading

Hey Everyone!
Let me tell you what I've been up to.
I've been updating my instagram www.intsagram.com/kiwi_natives_nz, I'm still looking for worthwhile employment while at the meantime, planning my business & working on the daily to be the best mother & wife as I can be as my contribution to the wellbing of my family.
Today, I've started some free online training and I'm thinking about our ultimate dream life and how to manifest it into reality. I've created a Haiku to go with my first curated gift-boxes that I want to create.
From the first Haiku I shared with you - here's an explaination about what a Haiku is exactly:
[If you're wondering what a Haiku is- it's an ancient type of Japanese poetry - traditionally each haiku is 3 lines and made up of 17 (5,7,5) morae or syllables- although the number of syllables doesn't really matter nowadays. However, it should illustrate one brief moment in time, use colourful but simple language & provide a sudden moment of illumination - represented by a juxtaposition.]
