Nothing says romance like a moonlit night, dim lights, and a live rendition of some of the moodiest romantic composers’ best works. While the moon isn’t really cooperating this time (I googled it and there will be zero moonlight on the 15th), Junwei Chen will be bringing all the atmosphere we need with his beautiful renditions of Ravel and Chopin this Wednesday at The Racket Lounge: Moonlight Dash.

In this acts’ first number, blues will meet classical just like the strawberry meets the cheese in that scene from Ratatouille. In their second, you’ll hear poignant melodies played the way they’re supposed to be by two of Wellington’s most skilled up and coming classical performers.
