I shared this video inside my private Paint Club group, but it felt too important to keep there.
Yesterday I was designing a new painting and it didnāt work. Too busy. So Iām starting again.
I felt frustratedā¦ until I realised something ā I loved the time I spent sketching. I enjoyed watching the idea come to life. Nothing was lost.
Thatās the part no one tells beginners:
Painting isnāt about perfect results. Itās about the process ā the calm, the curiosity, the joy of creating.
If youāre new to painting (or getting back into it), please hear this:
š Youāre not doing it wrong.
š Youāre not behind.
š Enjoying the process is the whole point.

That little spark in their eyes when the fear melts away and the joy kicks in? Honestly, itās the best part of what I do. š
Because once you get past that first hurdle, the whole world of painting opens up. Itās not about being āperfectā or doing it ārightā - itās about discovering how much fun creating art really is. šØš
Iām so grateful I get to be part of those moments with people like you - helping you see just how much joy and colour you can bring into your life through art.
