Internationally acclaimed comedian Randy Feltface is returning to Wellington with his razor-sharp stand-up show Gimmick, performing at The Opera House on 1 February.

After years spent denying he's "just a gimmick", Randy has decided it's time to fully embrace the accusation. In Gimmick, the beloved purple provocateur leans into the absurdity with a blisteringly funny, self-aware hour that blends existential dread, cultural commentary and relentless punchlines.
He's sharp. He's existential. He's purple. And yes, he's absolutely a gimmick.

One of Aotearoa's most influential voices, Che Fu, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his landmark album Navigator with a show at Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre on 11 October.

The show sees the pioneering artist perform Navigator, alongside a career-spanning selection of favourites. Che Fu is joined by his powerhouse live band The Kratez and special guests Aaradhna, Betty-Anne and King Kapisi.

Just announced: Air Force in Concert featuring Bret McKenzie on 8 November at the Michael Fowler Centre.

Join Bret McKenzie and the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band for an afternoon of musical delights showcasing hits from the Muppets, Flight of the Conchords, and more.

Epic musical Miss Saigon will return to Wellington in 2027, with a large‑scale semi‑staged concert version set for the Michael Fowler Centre from 12 March.

The season will feature a 40‑strong local choir, a live orchestra, and a cast of New Zealand and international musical‑theatre performers. The concert will feature some of musical theatre’s most recognisable songs, including I’d Give My Life for You, Why God Why, Bui Doi and The Movie in My Mind.

Tickets go on sale 28/8, but stay tuned to Live in WLG for early presale access starting at 9 am on 26 August 2026.
