The script for this show is absolutely unique - bold, raunchy and funny. Bringing it to life across set design & set construction, costume design and props was a gorgeous opportunity in world-building 🙏

It’s been a blast 💥 being a part of such a collaborative project with joyful, skilled and deeply talented people.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas, a happy new year and a well deserved chance to slow down, reset and rest over the holiday season! 🎄

As this year wraps up, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank my community of clients, colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers and beautiful network of supportive folk, without which none of this year would have been possible. With each year that passes, I'm more and more humbled by the skills of those to my left and right and honoured to be a part of such a collaborative creative community.

Wishing you all the best for the remainder of the year, and thinking of those who work through the season 🥂

The studio will be re-opening on 19 January - look forward to seeing you all then!

Welcome to the Teddy Bear Graveyard 🧸🔥

Fire onstage is always a delightful challenge. Pleased to brighten up the stage as Special Effects Designer for 2:22 A Ghost Story, which frightened audiences at Circa Theatre in Wellington this September. We burned one poor Teddy at each performance for a month, providing a spine-chilling visual and leaving us with a suitcase full of the sinister looking plushies!

Custom-designed furniture 🛌

Recently took the opportunity to design and build something a little extra special. It was a pleasure to hand sketch and then shape the headboard silhouette through multiple iterations - ensuring each curve felt just right as it fell away from the centre. The royal blue velvet is ultra plush, with a 75mm thickness to the foam - absolute comfort for a cuppa in bed on the weekends.

It has been an honour to lead the 2025 Tohu Awards on behalf of the Defence Employer Support Council as Creative Lead and Event Manager this year 🏆

2025 marks my 6th Tohu Awards - an event which has taken us onboard HMNZS Aotearoa, into a Hybrid delivery during C-19, to the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, the Public Trust building in Wellington and to Defence Headquarters for two years running.

As creative lead for the past 5 years - I led the Tohu Awards' rename and rebrand, produced winners' and finalists' videos, built and delivered graphic content, planned, wrote and delivered communications, delivered production design services for varying spaces, and assisted in establishing event processes for the Defence Reserves, Youth and Sport portfolio.

The Tohu Awards honour those who have gone above and beyond in their service and those that make that service possible - employers, mentors and supporters.

Minister of Defence, Hon Judith Collins KC MP and Associate Minister of Defence, Hon Chris Penk MP joined with Senior NZDF Leadership last week to recognise and celebrate Reservists, Cadet Force Officers (CFOs), Limited Service Volunteers (LSV) and the organisations who support them.

With great congratulations, the 2025 award finalists and winners are:

We're painting the town rouge! 💄

Always pleased to work with the team Circa Theatre , this time as Graphic Designer for Kavanah Productions & BRAVE Theatre production, "Monument". Brilliant to see my various billboards all around Wellington. From Kilbirnie Park to Courtenay Place, Cuba Street, Thorndon Quay, Taranaki Street and everywhere in between - a huge thanks to Phantom Billboards for the amazing coverage.
