I love it when they split the party 😈💖🎲❄️

My players actually managed this encounter very well with a well placed silence spell cast on the tip of an arrow. Which of course ended up in a monster before it could raise the alarm!

They eventually had to drop the concentration though to cast spells themselves so thats when things got a little spicy. I do love a complex combat session.

My Icewind Dale game at Bea is ramping up and Poltergeist came out to play!👻💖🎲

My amazing players (who bring the best snacks) took on The White Lady of Easthaven in our last session. Unfortunately their characters also touched a bunch of chardarlyn ... I'm sure that won't have lasting consequences for the PCs. 👀😈❄️

In my games sometimes... you may end up in a fight with a Beholder 👀🎲💖

On Thursday at Martini Bar in Petone, a very clever party ended up casting wall of force on the beholder while it was in a tunnel in a 15ft size cube. Of course that meant it's eye ray cone wasn't big enough to let it out, making it very mad at the Barbarian who happened to be trapped inside the force wall with it.

Then my players said "Actually, the Beholder is trapped in there with the Barbarian!" And they really gave it a thumping! I was laughing very hard and was very impressed.

The Barbarian did die a very dramatic disintegration death but not before taking the Beholders HP down enough that they released the wall finally and a single arrow finished it off.

I learnt a LOT and they won't get me again next time so easily. Haha 😈🎲💖

Had a blast playing at Dragons & Flagons with the best little local brewery 💖🎲🍺

My players did their absolute best to not go insane. Unfortunately they were not successful and they will never be the same in darkness anymore. Ooopps?? Hehehe 😈
I'll be back running D&D again in August.

The Beer Engine is a sweet little micro-brewery located in Titahi Bay. Excellent beers, delicious food and quality service. Really close to the beach. What more could you want? If you haven't visited already come check it out.
