Introducing the amazing Ava who is our marketing and social media gal.

What’s your skill set?
I sometimes take a cool photo or two, but more importantly I make a mean coffee.

What’s your favourite horror film?
I get scared so so easily and have literally seen NONE. However the closest thing I have seen is the tv show Haunting of Hill House, and honestly i LOVED it.

I feel like you can tell a lot about a person based on their weapon of choice in an apocalypse, whats yours?
Honestly i would give up on survival pretty quickly, I don’t need to put myself through that.

What is your dream project?
I would love to work on a project exploring the experiences of growing up in New Zealand as a Pacific Islander, the way this alters your view of your own culture and the relationship you have with it.

And finally, Tea or Coffee?
Coffee, duh.

I have loved working on this project and seeing this show evolve!!

What are you excited about for the coming year?
At the Altar, duh.

What's your skill set?
People wrangling, schedule making and crew mothering

What's your dream project?
A horror comedy (and I oop!)

Why theatre?
I can make whatever crazy idea that’s going on in my head into real life. I also get to watch amazing things be made by my friends.

Introducing the amazing Shem who is our organised and talented Stage Manager

What’s your skill set?
I can act, write and make charts and tables, i study history and I like organising stuff. (Is that what I'm supposed to say?? I actually don't know)

Favourite horror movie? Why?
Honestly, I have seen three horror movies in my life. The first three Scream movies. All I remember is a dude attached to a wheel. So I'm gonna say that one purely because I remember it. (Feel free to recommend me horror movies)

I always feel like you can tell a lot about someone by their apocalypse weapon pick, what's yours?
I'd probably just wear a full suit of Armour and throw soap at them.

What's your dream project?
I'd love to work on a project that explores loneliness and depression in the elderly.
Also something gay.

And finally tea or coffee?
Tea

Why theatre?
I loved going to watch the theatre as a kid and always wanted to be a part of it.

You eat something weird. What monstrous power do you get?
I’d grow a massive scorpion stinger.

What are you excited about for the coming year?
I’m excited to be a part of productions and start the MFA myself.

Attic!

Introducing the lovely Alanah who will be playing Amelia.

What skill sets do you have?
Acting, costume designer, and directing.

Why did you choose to do theatre?
I’m in too deep to leave now, I made a blood oath. But also I just love it, it’s genuinely my favourite thing in the entire world and I hope I get to be involved in theatre for the rest of my life.

You can tell a lot about someone by their apocalypse weapon pick, what's yours?
Realistically probably a large stick or something, ideally a sword.

What is your favourite play, musical, or show?
RENT. For musicals always Rent (and Jonathan Larson’s work in general). I love absurdist theatre and Shakespeare. I directed a play this year called Lucy Light by Sarah Milton - that’s probably one of my favourite plays I’ve ever read. It’s such a beautiful story and the ending just kills me every time.

Coffee!!

Introducing the wonderful Sean, who is playing Marcus.

What made you want to do theatre?
Because of the connections built over a rehearsal period. And being onstage is super fun.

What is your favourite soundtrack?
The Outer Wilds game soundtrack including the Echoes of the Eye DLC. If you know you know.

If you were a plant, what plant would you be?
A peace lily

And finally, what are you most excited for this year?
Just seeing what kind of friends I'll make and fun I'll have with them. I also recently bought a kayak and those are very cool!!
