🐾Since today is International Dog Day we’d like to formally introduce you to Delilah, the newest (and cutest) doggy mascot of Te Huinga Tāngata.

Delilah is still a puppy, so her days at work mostly involve snoring, collecting cuddles, and making friends. Her mum, our Events Coordinator Katrina, has been bringing her along to work and we’re certainly not complaining!

Animals are such an important part of our lives. They bring companionship, joy, and can make such a positive difference to our wellbeing ❤️

A big mihi to Breeze Wairarapa 99.9FM for including Delilah in their competition — we were very happy to take home the morning tea prize!

And if you’re visiting Te Huinga Tāngata for an event, you might just get lucky and meet Delilah. She’ll be the one looking for cuddles 🥰

Who’s up for a tempestuous night of Shakespearean chaos, clever comedy, and plenty of puffed-up Elizabethan nonsense?

Award-winning comedian Hot Pink Penny Ashton brings The Tempestuous to the Wairarapa this October.

From belching stepfathers and l***y suitors to popping cod pieces and menopausal witches, Ashton brings to life a tale of magic, meddling, and destiny.

“Incredibly clever, the script is just so smart.” — Radio NZ

“Masterful ‘shrewd comedy’... a tempestuous triumph.” — The Post

Grab your tickets and prepare for a gloriously chaotic night of Shakespearean comedy.
