END OF CHAPTER 1. Chapter 2 begins now!

What a time it has been. Since starting this idea back in late 2021, we’ve managed to take the scenic sesh to new heights that we could have never imagined.

As we wrap up this first chapter in Wellington, I thought it be fitting to reflect on these past couple years through the lens of the individuals who were pivotal in making this idea come to life.

These individuals played many different roles, whether it be DJ’ing, providing generators, or even just being another set of hands on the day.

SO, we have:
- DJ K-Hole Kieran Morrison, the deepest and darkest selecta
- MC Chad Pest Brad West, with the smoothest lips behind the mic
- Myself, mr french flavour Andy French french flavour
- Seanus & James Sean Stevenson James Magallanes, our resident bass house experts
- Sammy K Sam Kerridge, the two step tantalizer
- Ben Mules Ben Mules, the cutest yet dirtiest man behind the decks
- Thomas Tom Goodman, our high impact operations manager
- And other notable features from local legends Joseph Faure, Xavier Hey, Corban Tupou, Harry Just & Buzz Knightyear.

What a couple of years! So many legends here who have made the scenic sesh the spectacle it is today. Thank you to you all.

So onto Chapter 2!

As many of us depart Wellington, I’m happy to inform you that our resident bass house experts Sean & James have taken over the reigns for the scenic sesh for all things Wellington.

So keep your taringas open because they’ll have some exciting news for you soon enough for some more scenic sesh goodness.

For me (Andy), I’m based here in Sydney now, so if you’re over this way then let me know. Would love to link up and make the most of what Eora has to provide!

Thats a WRAP.

A massive shoutout to all of you beautiful frothers that came along to party with us, the second club takeover at birdcage was absolutely huge!!

And just like that: WE'RE BACK!
Taking over the cage, once again!

After the success of the first scenic sessions club takeover, we're stoked to announce that we're lacing up for another belter of a night, down at Birdcage this Friday.

This time we're back with more energy, diving deeper into the sounds of house, garage and techno - as we bring the house down with some fine selections from our scenic sesh resident DJs.

This time we have 8 DJs, yes you heard it right - 8 DJs stepping up to the plate! Bringing you an eclectic selection of tunes progressing from disco to techno to acid house and then rounding it out with some jungle breaks and drum & bass.

Running a boiler room setup for this session was an absolute blast and added an awesome arena feel to this bunker rave. We also had a record number of ravers at this one and it was sick to have so much energy!

Welcome back to scenic sessions! ☀️

After a month long hiatus, we are back to bring you another night of two-steppin and tasty tune-age.

This session will see some spicy acts from across Aotearoa throwing down heaters in another crispy location.

Last time we hosted a bunker rave we nearly blew the roof off, so tell ya nan that this ain't one to miss!

VOLUME 6 - Town Belt ⛰

Episode 6 saw the scenic sesh take to the hills above the capital, with the glow of Wellington City as the background to this look-out pop off.

We hustled the decks and speakers up the hill on a chilly Friday night, turning the cameras on JUST in time to capture some of the stunning sunset across the city.

This round saw some longer sets ranging from liquid, to garage, to disco and even a fine selection of original house numbers from Mr .magallanes . We can’t wait to share the full video of the night with you later this week.

With the outdoor gig restrictions lifting, we have some big plans for the coming months so stay tuned!
