Nectar Blanket by Ysolda Teague made in Merino yarn. I chose to do the 4ply/Fingering weight version with 16 hexagons in the colours Duck Egg and Mist.
This was a gift gor a friend who was expecting a little boy, and I've since received a photo of the little guy cuddled up under it looking very cute 😍
This was a labour of love with all the small pieces, a lot of sewing, and a lot of weaving in of ends, but it was worth it in the end!

More socks, new yarn to try. These ones are West Yorkshire Spinners in the colourway Hidden Gem. Had to add some purple socks to the growing collection and really like how the striping knitted up on these ones! Another pair are nearly done, but posting two of the same won't be as fun 😉

Mabel's Sweater was a scrappy project for our new puppy. I rounded up my scraps of purple yarn, based it off another dog sweater project and just went for it. No plans, just vibes. It turned out very cute and took me a day to knit. Very pleased with how it turned out and is super snuggly for her.

The Soft Current Tee by one of favs - .and.pine.designs . I made mine in high twist Merino yarn in the colourway Rainy Day Flowers - a beautiful Grey with splashes of supee vibrant purple and pinks. The design has a beautiful lace the flows down from both shoulders seamlessly at the centre of the front and back. You finish the edges of the sleeves as you go and the shoulders are shaped using short rows. Very little finishing at the end other than washing and blocking! I plan to wear it both as a sleeveless top and a slip over vest over the top of long sleeves shirts this autumn and winter.

My Manitou Mitts by Virginia Sattler-Reimer were made in left over Happy-go-knitty Mardi in the colourway Silver Pennies. Unfortunately this luxe base isn't available anymore from Helene but there are still a few skeins left floating about in stores. The composition is 60% Wool - Merino 20% Yak and 20% Silk. I wanted a neutral colour that would go with anything and I'm so pleased with the fit on them. I had to go down to 2mm needles to achieve it though! Was a quick, enjoyable knit with and easy to follow pattern 😊

My version of the Stromboli by Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks. I knitted size 1 for my preferred fit. The colour is Love Potion number 9 by on their Silky Bah Lamb base which is 50/50 Merino and Silk. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out, its just too bad it's too cold to wear it here at the moment! Lucky it will keep until the summer! The drape on this yarn is perfect for the delicate lace and faux cables and feels amazing to wear 💜✨️

Another pair of Vanilla Socks with Afterthought heels off the needles. These ones are made in Reloved self striping yarn. Catrien dyes these gobstopper balls up specially to take with her to events and I nabbed this one at a Capital Fibre Fest when we were neighbours trading there last year. The heels are made in some ooak self-dyed yarn and I live the lilac with the moodier purple, blue and greens.
