I put myself on a making ban a while ago because I made so many things but hadn’t fired a lot of them.

Things are slowly happening, slowly being finished and now the struggle is finding a sunny day take photos of them 🫠

Updating instagram has felt pretty unimportant lately.

But, super proud that this tuna sold as part of the fundraiser run by .gallery with alllll the pūtea going to Ngati kahungunu me ngati porou whānau. The fundraiser as a whole raised 64k!!

It felt important to do what little I could to help a community that has held me and my whanau through many many generations 🧡

I have a new batch of whales coming soon! And I’m realising I never really post my whales 🤔 so here’s a lil teeny whale from last year but these new dudes look a bit different and are 30cm long.
Fingers and toes and all the things crossed bc my track record with whales surviving the firing isn’t great 🙃😬
