“This powerful piece introduces a variety of uncomfortable and unfamiliar emotions.” - Amelia Baine.

Emily Lancaster’s intent when creating “A Picture of Good Health” was to shed light 🌦 on the brutal reality of human emotion. Creating, choreographing and directing a work to “give insight to those who have never struggled with mental health into what is a real disorder for so many” is a feat that pines for discernity. 🌱 Baine’s descriptions invoke a challenge to encounter sheer emotional grit: to strike a deep chord and allow the thought-provoking movements sweep the ground from under your feet. 🌬🍃

Grab your tickets from the New Zealand Fringe Festival website to experience the breadth of emotions that will leave you reeling for days. 🪶🪨🖤

“If Emma Salzano’s ‘After the Storm’ did one thing, it was to remind us of the sheer tenacity of the human spirit.” - Raureti Ormond.

After a year of continual research, development and collaboration, Emma Salzano, “adorned with red and white flowers in her hair,” 🌹 could not be more ardent to tell this “tale about hanging on through the gush of unrelenting waves.” 🌊 Ormond’s review of the musical’s 2021 debut sums up beautifully the persevering spirit of the story: a sentiment which we yearn to hold onto, especially in such trying times as these. ⚓️🤍

Experience the “story of those who will always be engrained in the whakapapa of our country” and get your tickets from the New Zealand Fringe Festival website today. 💃🏻🇮🇹🎶
