As part of the livestream Behind The Sims Summit - held on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the series The Sims - Electronic Arts and Maxis have announced that they are working on a brand new episode called "Project René" (for Renaissance). According to what we are told, the game will remain true to the franchise’s DNA while introducing new features to stimulate user creativity. With Project René, players will have the choice to play solo or collaborate with other players, and will be able to play on different compatible devices,' it reads.

The reaction of the fans on Twitter was immediate. Indeed, many of them found the announcement of the Sims outrageous in the 5 sense that there was nothing concrete to put under the teeth, whereas The Sims 4 has been available since 2014. Logical. This compilation of remasters of games originally released in 2016 and 2017 is obviously not very interesting if you have already read both titles on PlayStation.
On the other hand, if you are a PC player curious to finally discover what the adventures of the famous Nathan Drake are worth, you have knocked on the right door! By focusing on the two most recent episodes, the Legacy of Thieves Collection guarantees a quality show. Even in 2022 the graphics have lost nothing of their superb, especially since they no longer bother with any technical limits. Playing in 4K and/or 120 frames per second is now allowed, while the different menus offer a level of customization worthy of most native PC titles, or even better on some points.
In short, the only real disappointment, indirect but real, comes from the fact that this compilation is not accompanied by the Nathan Drake Collection, which includes the first three episodes of the series but remains for the hour exclusive to PlayStation consoles.

BAYONETTA 3: BAYONETTA’S NEW VOICE RESPONDS TO CONTROVERSY, CALMS THE GAME

Nintendo and PlatinumGames certainly should not have expected such controversy ten days before the release of Bayonetta 3 on Nintendo Switch (October 28). Indeed, this weekend, Hellena Taylor - who until now had been lending her voice to the witch - explained that if she had not returned to service, it was simply because she had not reached an agreement with the Japanese studio. She thinks the $4,000 that has been proposed is ridiculous.

Even if she says she doesn’t feel any bitterness towards Jennifer Hale - who therefore agreed with PlatinumGames to take over the role of Bayonetta - she still put a scratch on her: "She has no right to say that she is Bayonetta."

The DualSense Edge, officially launched this summer at gamescom 2022, has just been the subject of a major update from Sony Interactive Entertainment. In a big post on the PlayStation Blog, the Japanese manufacturer reveals the release date of its Pro controller for the PS5, but also its price. We will therefore have to wait until January 26, 2023 and €239.99 to get hold of it.
This is a rather steep note, especially if we compare it to the Xbox Elite Series 2 from Microsoft "which only costs" 179,99€. In reality, Sony Interactive Entertainment aligns itself with the prices of manufacturers such as SCUF Gaming which offers its SCUF Reflex (small success that we tested here) around 210/250€. The only problem is that the price of the DualSense Pro can quickly increase, since it is specified that the replaceable joystick modules will be sold for €24.99. This raises serious questions about the commercial competitiveness of the product. For the rest, the DualSense Pro does much the same thing as the others, namely integrate paddle buttons on the back of the joystick, swap the joystick caps, have a grip on the handles and leave with a carrying cover.

Pre-orders for the replaceable joystick controller and modules will begin on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
