Looking to cast multiple roles for a production part of the Eat. Drink. Play. Festival in May. Auditions to be held March 20th.

This show will be a remount of it's 2021 production, and will center around the opening of a fictional speakeasy, in a 1920s/30s style Americana. North American accents are highly sought after, but not mandatory for the roles.

Though there is a solid frame of the show, this will be a collaborative rehearsal process with performers creating their own characters, and collaboratively building a script. Rehearsals will be spent building the physical world of the show, and there will be outside writing expected of performers to bring to in-person rehearsals.

The performance itself will be 2 Saturdays, and involve to varying degrees audience interaction as well as improving within the built characters and relationships.

Performers will be paid a per show stipend and there is a chance for further performances of the production.

Those Lights Theatre is looking for a handful of actors/dancers/movers for an upcoming developmental workshop as part of a residency at BATS theatre this March/April!

The focus of this residency is to further develop a devised work in progress called The Wanderer: a movement based re-telling of The Odyssey. We will be up on our feet, generating dance and movement material, and playing with props and music in the space. While you definitely don't have to be a classically trained dancer to apply (I'm not either!), having a background in dance, or being comfortable moving and using your body to tell a story will be massively advantageous.

This residency won't result in a public performance, nor is it at this point paid, but I am looking to collaborate with those who are interested in helping bring this production to life as a future paid or profit/share season later in the year.

You will have to show proof of vaccination to be a part of this program
