What happens when the elegance of Jane Austen meets the unpredictability of improvisation?
Join us for a lively Director’s Talk on Austen Found, the acclaimed musical comedy that reimagines Austen’s world anew at every performance. Through stories, reflections and behind-the-scenes insights, discover how this unique production continues to delight audiences with its blend of romance, wit and spontaneous theatrical magic. After the talk, attendees can choose to head straight to the performance (booked separately), with a complimentary preshow drink at Chouchou.

This long weekend take an exclusive 'Behind the Scenes' Circa Theatre tour, in conjunction with the Wellington Heritage Festival.

Discover and celebrate the 50-year history of Wellington’s iconic Circa Theatre with a 1-hour guided tour of the theare’s foyer and backstage area of our historical building on Wellington’s waterfront.

You will be taken on a unique guided tour of this historic building, including the back of house, which is usually actors only! Learn about the fascinating building move from 7 Harris Street to 1 Taranaki Street – including how the facade of 120-year-old Westport Chambers was trucked across the road and the new theatre built in behind it.
