After two years, three seasons, two countries, and hundreds of cassettes, we have wrapped up our last ever performances of Loops. And what a way to go out with our first international tour. There are a few people we want to thank for getting us here, in no particular order 😘 for being our major funder, without their support our Melbourne season would not have been possible. Everyone who donated to our .nz campaign, without which we would’ve been living off baked beans for the last few months. and for our Tour Ready Award in Feb 2022, and enthusiasm for supporting weird and wonderful art. Our three venues for housing our mahi and taking such great care of us. for their selfless support of and joy in all things rigging and safety. for being our home. All our audiences for going on a ride with us each night. And the team .philippa .h for making the magic happen ✨✨

It feels refreshing to compare their personal styles and the different ritualistic elements of their dances.

Frenetic moments are always grounded in a sense of real connection and mutual empathy between the performers, who strive to maintain unity in their timings and whose characters seem to be both craving and offering support at different times.
