This Man needs no introduction for our boiler room but here he is anyway - New Zealand based Electronic music producer/Joey Illah, humbly learned to make music on a PlayStation game 20 years ago.
Joey has come along way since then with some of the most anticipated releases in the underground music scene. Making big moves in the DNB and TRAP scene. Having releases on German, UK and US record labels and having music distributed by Sony Music NZ. Joey was previously singed to a German label under his old alias “Jp.Moa” which got him approximately 8 songs in the top 100 Beatport charts.
Bursting onto the DJ scene in 2019 with his first show with the Bassment crew. To now having opened for artists like Bou, Ben Snow, Rene LaVice, Shockone, 1991, Gray, Kara, Sippy, Andromedik, Heimanu, Quix, Kove and many more.
Joey has support for his music from big artists from the likes of, Andy C, Rene LaVice, Fred V, Flava D, Delta Heavy, Dossa & Loccozd, T & Sugah, 1991, Ed Solo & Jon Casey just to name a few.
Joeys music has thousands of plays on Spotify and Soundcloud. His original music edits and flips have been played all over the word at clubs and festivals by some of the biggest artists in the game.
Joey is diversifying his music across various electronic genres from heavy or Liquid DnB to Heavy Trap to House music. Even combining elements from deferent genres to make his mark on the world with his unique, exiting, innovative and intricate sound.
