Talbot Dance Academy offer the highest quality dance education, in a friendly, encouraging & conscientious environment. We provide classes suitable for all ages, abilities and ambitions, from the recreational dancer to the dancer aiming for a professional career. The teachers at TDA are experienced, professional and qualified and endeavour to present the best tuition possible. At TDA we specialise

in the genres of RAD ballet, NZAMD jazz, NZAMD tap and NZAMD contemporary dance. We also offer open classes, stretch & body conditioning, and performance/ competition opportunities. We believe that dance is an excellent way to develop your child's co-ordination, creativity, musical awareness, fitness and confidence. The classes at TDA help develop these skills within a fun atmosphere. Throughout the year there are various events that students can be involved in. These include internationally recognised RAD ballet exams, NZAMD Jazz and contemporary exams, competition opportunities including solo and troupe prformance, the end of year recital, workshops and community events.

2025…. What a year!! 👏🏻

It’s been a massive year at TDA, busy weekly classes, amazing exam results, weekends full of competitions, friendships have been made, and the passion for dance has grown 🥰

This was our biggest year yet and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for all our dancers 💃
