We’ve been at the Town Hall these past 3 weeks as our usual building has undergone some renovations.

This took me back to where my dance journey began 20 years ago as a little 4 year old doing her first ballet class at the Warkworth Town Hall 🥹🩰
I’ve searched high and low for the photos 🤣 but as they’re all printed in books and boxes it’s been hard to track down haha I’ll find it one day!

Hi everyone,
I thought I would properly introduce myself. I’m Jess 👋

I’m a mum to two beautiful girls, Arlee & Cali, who are 3 and 1 💕

I started Dance Time Warkworth in 2021. Just after Covid, I was approached with the idea of running some fun kids dance classes, and honestly… it just kept growing from there!

I’ve always had a huge passion for creating a space where people can come, have fun, and truly enjoy themselves without pressure. I danced myself from the age of 2 through to around 15/16, but eventually stopped because I found the pressure too much — which is a big part of what inspired me to create what DTW is today.

We have such an awesome community of kids here at DTW, with some families having been with us since the very beginning nearly 5 years ago! I absolutely adore all of my dance kids and love watching their confidence grow week by week. I can’t wait to share more exciting things we have coming for the Dance Time family ✨

I currently teach:
🖤 Hip Hop classes on Thursdays for ages 4–12
🩰 Toddler Fun Ballet on Saturdays

Outside of dance, you’ll usually find me out in the garden or hanging out with our many animals 🌿🐓

My first class of term 2 tonight!

Wow that was a special evening!! Seeing all the families out on the green in front of the hall chatting and playing.
We had full classes, new faces, returning faces, and faces who had been with us since day one! Every single kid was enjoying themselves learning and just having so much fun 🫶
Wished I had taken a photo tonight with the team maybe next week 😉🤞
